Work on the new Competition and Training Centre is progressing and it is really starting to take shape.
We'll be providing regular updates as the project nears completion - and a new dedicated website is coming soon where you'll be able to find out all you need to know about our new Centre!
The floor of this AMAZING 72m x 40m inside measurement arena is being prepared for the surface next week, kick boards in and lights are up ... The surface arrived as planned - 600 ton delivered and installed!
Floodlights going up...
As you can imagine, there is an awful lot of behind the scenes work with Paul Davies, Heather Wyles, Chris Prophet (Equo Events), Sam & Ella Jarram, John Cooper (It'seeze website designers) to mention a few, not forgetting Colette Johnson (Head Girl) and her team who work so hard keeping the livery yard running so smoothly.
72m x 40m indoor arena will also feature a 21m x 60m warm up arena and a parking area for lorries and trailers.
Thank you also to everyone who is contributing in any way by calling around to see the progress to give ideas and support ...
Car park well underway with 20 hook-ups, flood lights and mains water all on.
The team from Midland Horse Arenas said: "We recently saw Sally and Bandido testing out the surface! You might need to zoom in to see them, we certainly needed binoculars! "
"It's a lovely springy surface and more than enough room!" Says Sally.
We'll provide another update soon, in the meantime, why not check out our diary dates?
